When it comes to underwear, you can never have too many. There is a color, a style, and a fabric for all looks and occasions. In fact, wearing the right type of underwear can visually change the way you look. Many of us don’t really put much thought into the kind of underwear we buy and wear, and often brush it off with an excuse of being too busy, or may be even too lazy to put in the effort. ·If you are the casual dresser, not too bothered about the underwear you use but want to look good nonetheless, the first job is to get underwear in basic colors like white, beige, and black. This way you will be able to wear clothes in different colors without having to worry about underwear showing through. For instance, if you are planning to wear a white shirt, go with underwear in a skin tone. White underwear should ideally be avoided under white garments, especially if they are the see-through kinds. For clothes in darker shades, always wear underwear that is at least one shade lighter.

·Get a few convertible bras. These are extremely essential for party wear and any other occasion that you can’t afford to attend in regular jeans and tops. For instance, a regular bra would never work if you are wearing a halter neck dress. The same way, for strapless, off-shoulder, or one-shoulder dresses and tops, you can never wear a strappy bra. So it is a good idea to invest in a few convertible bras in different colors. That way, depending on the kind of dress you are wearing, you can easily turn your bra into a halter-neck or strapless one.

·Underwear styles should be made to match with that of your dress. For instance, if you are wearing a plunging neckline, or a V-neck, you need a bra that will not peep out from under your clothes. The same way, with thin strappy dresses and tops, make sure you wear either a strapless or a thin-strapped bra.

·Choose underwear in accordance with the season. Satin and lacy may look extremely hot and tempting, but it is a bad idea to wear them to work on a summer day. In fact, while buying undergarments, make sure you separate them into regular wear and occasion wear. After all, nothing could be more uncomfortable than underwear which makes you sweat or sticks to your body when you are sitting in meetings all day.

·Wear undergarment support when you have to. Not all of us have the perfect hourglass figure, but thanks to new underwear styles, we can flaunt a much slimmer and shapely look now. A variety of body shapers are now available that will undoubtedly make you feel more confident even in tight, body-hugging dresses.
